Jesus, Mary and a Cup of Joe is a adult book discussion group that
meets at 9 a.m. Sunday mornings in the Parlor.
RFUMC was formed on August 2, 1987 as the result of a merger between Ravenswood UMC, whose history dated to 1872, and Christian Fellowship UMC, formed by Japanese Americans relocated to Chicago from internment camps during and after WWII. An Indian/Pakistani congregation also joined in 1988, but they later chartered as their own Church in 2004.
The Cross & Flame are the symbol of the United Methodist Church. Rich and diverse in its history and significance, the emblem relates the United Methodist Church to God through Christ (cross) and the Holy Spirit (flame).
Our Church office is located downstairs in the Community House building and is open Tuesday–Friday from 9:30am to 2:30pm.
